Terms of service

The agreement for using Pearbana. Last updated 10 August 2026.

Pearbana measures market demand from search data. You describe a business idea, the service measures what people search for and what companies pay to reach them, and it writes that up as a report. Using the service means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

Pearbana is operated from the Netherlands. For anything on this page, write to [email protected]. How your data is handled is set out separately in the privacy policy.

What the service does, and what it does not

A report tells you how a market is searched for and who is paying to reach those searchers. That is a real measurement and it is a narrow one. In particular:

Nothing in a report is business, investment, legal or tax advice. Reports are generated by an automated system and are not reviewed by a person before you receive them. Decisions you take on the strength of one are yours.

Accounts

Credits

The service runs on credits. A report costs a fixed number of them whatever the market turns out to need; messages after the report are metered against the same balance.

Cost
A report800 credits, fixed
Messages after a report Metered by length, plus a charge for any measurement re-run

Refunds

If the service fails to deliver what you paid for — a report that does not arrive, or credits deducted for work that did not happen — write to us and we will refund it.

A report you disagree with is not a failure. A finding that a market is small, contested or unsearched is a real result and often the most valuable one, and it is not refundable on the grounds that it was unwelcome.

Consumers in the EU have a fourteen-day right to withdraw from a purchase. Because credits are usable immediately, asking us to run a report is asking us to begin performance straight away, and that right is lost for credits already spent. Unspent credits can be refunded within fourteen days.

What you may and may not do

Availability

This is an early service run by one person, and it depends on outside providers for search data and for the models that write the reports. It may be slow, unavailable, or changed without notice, and there is no uptime guarantee. If it is withdrawn, unspent credits will be refunded.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for decisions taken on the strength of a report. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including a consumer's rights under Dutch and EU law, which these terms do not displace.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; see the privacy policy for what that removes. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will refund unspent credits unless it was closed for abuse.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change. The date at the top says when this version was written, and material changes will be signalled in the service itself. Continuing to use it after a change means accepting the new version.

Dutch law applies, and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law where you live.

In short. You buy credits, credits buy reports, and a report measures how a market is searched for. It is a measurement rather than advice, it is produced without a person checking it, and what you do with it is your call. If we fail to deliver, we refund.
